23 Aug Dimensions in Diagnosis: Headache From the Patient and Expert Perspectives
Headache / Live Meeting at the Headache Update 2017
Primary headache disorders are complex to distinguish and treat, as research increasingly uncovers effective medications with novel mechanisms of action. Expert faculty Merle L. Diamond, MD, and Mark W. Green, MD, FAAN, will deliver an update on migraine’s clinical need and treatment, including acute and preventive therapies. 3D illustrations will highlight underlying pathophysiological mechanisms of migraine. Robbie Berry, a chronic migraineur, will join the faculty to present her patient journey in an interview with Dr. Diamond. An expanded discussion of primary headache disorders will feature clinical trial data of emerging therapies and clinical strategies for reducing delays in diagnosis.
