12 Aug Uncharted Territory: Optimal Management of Comorbidities in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid Arthritis / Live Meeting at 2016 ACR SOTA
Combining tried-and-true learning principles with a dynamically innovative approach, we collaborated with the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and ReachMD to create an educational experience featuring a live recording of TED-style educational talks, an interactive mobile studio capable of recording a internet radio didactic module, and an interactive Q&A session—all working in tandem to take participants on a virtual tour through relevant data and recommendations on the management of RA and comorbidities in the United States and globally. Supported by an educational grant from Pfizer and featuring expert faculty Sheetal Desai, MD, MSEd, FACR and Alvin F. Wells, MD, PhD, Uncharted Territory: Optimal Management of Comorbidities in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis Part 1 took place at the 2016 American College of Rheumatology (ACR) State-of-the-Art Clinical Symposium. The second part of this activity allows participants who completed –online or in person–the activity before November 16, 2016, to attend a “CME Think Tank” style workshop at the upcoming ACR/ARHP Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. For those unable to make either or who want a repeat experience, the activity will be distributed through ReachMD radio, online, and mobile platforms optimized for smartphones and tablets.
